After losing 4 pickups last week Tuesday I decided to try a 18/0 ? eagle claw circle hook for the first time. Rigged a fresh Y/Tail head bought from Fruit n Veg this morning and landed this 169cm (66.5kg). Not very big but was a bugger to land in the wash and twice took me into my braid. Lost 2 others. My partner landed 3 and lost one, all in the 60-70kg range.

Very impressed with the circles.......now converted

Why did you loose the previous fish, hooks pulling?

Last week mostly hooks pulling, yesterday the one case was my leader bitten through and the other my mainline just above the leader also neatly bitten through.
