A tough week on the Gamtoos...

Pat - Its a really wicked spot man, I'd go back tomorrow if I could.... Truly beautiful part of the world, the beaches and estuaries are insane.... of course if the fishing is slow, you can always hit Jeffreys just a 20 inute drive down the road!

Nepps,

Great report, but honestly, your photographic skills leave me in awe!

I may just have some work for you......

If you have a tent / or your own caravan you can also go and stay at Big Fish (they also have a place to launch your boat).

Not very expensive, with showers and electricity.
Not very far from the ferry.

Greetings all

I don't fish the Gamtoos much but here are some pics of fish tagged there recently in a catch and release compo which I acted as Weigh Master. No fish were slaughtered in that compo.

many thanks for sharing your report and pictures with us. It brought me a very interesting sunday afternoon in the cold Munich/Germany.

Thousand greetings to your wonderful country South Africa,
