A REALLY CRAPPY DAY

so after takin the wife out to c the demolition of cape town twin towers which needless to say as a moerse anticlimax we went out 4 lunch got back hme around 6 wen my garage door was busted in , initially i thot sum1 tried to get into the car bt further inspection led to a really k...k discovery

 

ALL MY F...K...N EQUIPMENT GONE

RODS , REELS PUMPS , ETC

so , ya took me 4 eva to build up that collection and nw i`m sittin with buggerall so i wnt b fishin 4 a while nw bt had a leka laugh afta the wife dissappeard 4 a while only to cum back with a cheapass rod bought @ game , bt hey i guess it`s the thot that counts mite as well go c wot the rods capable of tomorrow

Anyway guys thats hw my day went

 By the way you write I can see you are really ticked off. But please dont post from a phone using all these abbreviated words, and dont swear even if they are hidden with %^&*.

I know this is not what you want to hear right now, but I feel the same way about that  as what you feel about your tackle.

Firstly - Dude! My sympathies man!! That there is a terrible thing to have happen!

You must keep an eye open at the local swop shops - sure it will turn up there sooner than later..

Can only hope that the perpetrator may have his backside infested by the ticks of a thousand camels! ::cavmn

Steve sorry to hear of your lose,Care to mention which area you reside in ??? by doing this fellow sealiners can establish the pawn shops in the area and can look out for your tackle,also meantion the tackle taken.Quick tip,most of the pawn shops takes a copy of the sellers ID document and adress,so if anyone see your tackle,we notify you and you notify SAPS !!!! gud luck mate

i would be devastated man ! and equipment is expensive and if your anything like myself , sorta nostalgic about certian items in my arsenal.

contact the head offics for all the big second hand cashies etc and give them as much info as you can. A mate of mine got back most of his stuff like this. They actually phoned him to say when the guy arrived with the stuff for sale. Good luck and sorry to hear about your loss.

AND they are required by law not to put ir up for sale for 2 weeks after they have bought it.So you should rather ask and tell them some of your stuff where stolen and if you can take a look at recently purchased fishing tackle....

That sux man, sorry to hear. Do you have your gear insured? I insured my Sharkey and Saltist recently on my house insurance and was only about R15 pm. Maybe something to look into in the future? Stay strong dude.

Sorry bud, this story really sucks...Weird as it is, we really do get attached to our tackle, and then some lowlife gutter rat comes and steals it...

Please do keep a look out at pawn shops. I'm sure it will pop up.

To fellow sealiners. We, as fishermen, are now officially easy targets. As soon as these people realise how much our tackle is worth ... Dont even want to think about it.
