You won't believe it man, Am really chuffed , my first Bass on a Fly, logged on this morning, posted a message, read raggie's comment , took the bass rod only. Second Cast and i was on I was so chuffed i decided to leave the dam after 1 hour.

Now, my heart just sank into my shoe's, misunderstood Raggieman's post in another section and thought he caught that bass today when he slipped away for an ealy lunch here in Pretoria:cry1:tissue

I feel like crying cause it's Albert Falls, (is that still in SA?, just kidding have never been there!!!)

Anyhow, GR8 CATCH Free life 143, and even Gr8'r because it's on fly!!!! Congrats from the TOP SHELF 2 U, U should be more than Chuffed, You should be OVER THE MOON, big 1's like that hardly ever get caught on fly, a real achievement bud, be as proud as hell about that fish!!!!

BTW i think in the Bass Sa mag, their record for BASS on fly is around 1.2 to 1.4 kgs, perhaps you should write them a letter and see if they would admit your record on fly because it really deserves the :first.

Wowee! At first glance, I thought it was just a really fat Salmon (out the sea!) - but a BASS!!!!

Goodness thats a fabulous catch! Really well done!!
