Earlier today we got reports of an incident that happened at Macassar beach,an angler was brutally attacked and robbed by two men and seriously injured.Angler bybthe name of Jacques aka Monwabisi cop was well known on the sealine forum,always assisting anglers in need and going out of his way to patrol out beaches whether on or off duty,he is currently in a serious condition in Kuils River hospital with two stab wounds,one in the neck and another that punctured his lungs.
The CTRS community are outraged that an incident like this occured and our prayers are with our local hero and his family.

Yes sad but it doesn't stop there unless firm action is taken,I was robbed and stabbed in the lung too 2 yrs ago at bamboesgat on the swartklip coast,to top it all the bastards came with bloodsucker dogs and my son of 11 was with me,so ja I know hw our fishing brother feel and wanna wish him a speedy recovery and to his family be strong and know theirs a lot of prayers going out for him,STRONGS

Just so every one knows. 2 gents tried to rob me and a fellow angler and to make a long story short I got stabbed once in the back and it went into the lung.
I am of now I'm still in hospital in ICU but stable. all I can say is when I get out of here and I'm good and strong again im going hunting!!!!!!!!!! I know what they look like and don't forget a face they will get to know me in a very bad way

Great news to hear ur OK bro and all da best and a speedy recovery,hope those ------ start running without looking back and if and when u do catch them invite me for a piece of the action coz the two who robbed and stabbed me were never caught might be the same bunch,but glad to hear ur OK STRONGS
