Welcome back Christopher, we will keep this thread going while there are still some  have to have knives out there. I still have to research the dagger but not gold unfortunately. Hope to see you here again soon.

Thanks, it's been a while hey?:) Got your pm on fb. Going by the date, my guess is that this was one of the daggers produced from left over stock as souvenirs for the occupational forces after the war.

Can't believe this thread is still going... I recently also got bitten by the knife making bug. Nothing made yet that I can sell, but I do enjoy the creative process and learning new stuff. My dad has a ammo box full of knives an bayonets he collected over the years. Will poist some pics if ever I get a chance.
