Any idea for a good all rounder rod I can get for my bait caster? Will mainly be scratching and throwing plugs/spoons.

All info and suggestions would be welcome!

Ps: Don't want to break the bank!

Shoo dont you think that 11ft is a bit long for a bait caster.
I would have thought that a 9ft would be the longest, and still be comfortable.
Especially throwing a spoon or plug.

Unless you have arms like the terminator!::S

Why would you need terminator arms for a 11ft rod? Is it because it will be paired with a bait caster? ( not that I don't have terminator arms lol )

I only own 13ft rods ( no prob casting a weight 150m), and thought a 9-11ft rod would be okay for the bait caster. Max weight ill be throwing is about 4oz!

What I ment to say is that for scratching a 11 foot is fine but try and work a drop shot or leadhead, that will just kill your arms!

Even throwing a plug and spoon is fine but not for extended periods.
I tried that a few times and went quickly back to my 9ft.............Note I also dont have Terminator arms!!!

See if you can still find a poseidon ultra light in casting 11'6" its very light and casts well.(2oz)

Also the Assassin light in 11'6" is also a great option.(4oz)

Ok Makes sense to me know, thx. Yeah scratching around with a big rod will surely be a work out on it's own. Will look into a 9ft rod or else the Assassin light 11'6 ft.
