It was a bit tricky in the end as 3/4 of the way through applying epoxy we have load shedding, had to finish the epoxy work and hand turn the rod!! in the dark!! The colours of the abalone are just amazing to look at but are not reflected in the pics, when the light hits it it looks beautiful!

Will definately be working with it again.
