7ft Spinning setup advice

Hi Guys

I am currently in the market for a new setup which will be used for estuary spinning for kob, leerie, grunters etc. It will also double as my setup for largemouth bass.
The rod should be able to cast plugs and spoons up to 1oz with comfort, but still have a good action for working topwater lures. I was thinking something in the 7ft range, 2 piece and preferably fuji guides.
Reel wise I am pretty set on getting a Stradic FK 3000, but I am open to other options.
Any advice in terms of braid? I'm considering 10lb Sufix 832.
Any input will be much appreciated!

Have a look at the Fate Black Gen 2 by 13 Fishing.

Best value I have found in the market. I have the 7'5 Medium Light 4 -10lbs rod.

Ultimately you are looking for a rod rod 8-17lbs line as this will get you closer to the 1 ounce cast weight that you are looking for.

This is my go to topwater rod for grunters using Xrap Walk, Yozuri Pencils and Zenith Z Claw.

The one caution here is that any rod that has enough tip to work a walk the dog type lure is likely to be seriously stretched at 1 ounce.

Mine came in directly from the US but you can try fishings finest as they do 13 fishing.

Glad to hear feedback on 13 fishing rods, thanks Haakies. Do they come with fuji eyes? I had a look at some the other day and couldn't figure it out.

They seem like good rods for the money, but the heaviest lure rating of the spinning models is the 7'1MH that is rated up to 3/4oz(according to their website).
I did a quick search, but they seem hard to find in SA. I don't see them available at fishings finest either.
I guess it is a bit unrealistic to find a rod with a soft enough tip and sensitivity for your topwaters and bass fishing, while being able to cast the heavier plugs and spoons for garrick and elf in estuaries. I also looked at the Crucial series from Shimano, which seems like excellent rods, but I have not purchased one yet for the same reason.
I am hoping to avoid buying 2 seperate rods since my fishing tackle budget has been overspent a long time ago! :?

From what I could find out it doesn't look like these rods use Fuji guides. On 13 fishing's website it only says the rod has tangle free guides with zirconium inserts. No mentions of it being Fuji's.

Have a look at the Major Craft range. I've bought quite a few from Shimreels on eBay and they have been super reliable and very fast. Shipping is usually included in the price and all mine have come with Fedex. They are really great quality rods and a good seller.

I've got a few N-Ones, a Crostage, a few Go-Emotions, a basspara, Corzza and a Triple Cross. Only rod I wasn't happy with was a Corzza (discontinued) but I bought incorrectly on that one.

I have a new St Croix 8ft Avid Inshore that you can look at.
It is 8-17lbs and rated to 3/4 ounce but will handle
1 ounce.

This could work for you as it has a decent tip.

We can chat about price if you keen. This is a superb
rod. I just have too many to give it the fishing time it deserves.

I will take a look at what Major Craft has to offer. After a quick look it seems like they have a huge variety of rods available. Hopefully there is enough reviews available online to help me make a choice!

I got a reccomendation to have a look at the Shimano Technium spinning rods. There is a 7ft medium rod available that is rated to cast 14 to 42g. Supposedly these rods have a sensitive and very fast action. The following is quoted from Shimano's website:
The all new Technium- spinning/casting series is an fantastic looking rod series. With stunning blue cosmetics and Shimano XT200 carbon the rods are very strong yet lightweight and sensitive. The rods have very fast action which make them perfect to fish all types of lures for predator fish. Although the rods are strong and fast action the tips have a very sensitive action, making them perfect for adding life and movement to all type of lures. The Technium is finished with a Fuji reel seat, EVA split grips, and Fuji Alconite guides.

If anyone has any experience with these rods, please share and let me know if the rod can work for what I have in mind.
