Nailed this 6 foot bronzy last night at a beach on the southern coast of Westen Australia.
Slidebaited out half an Australian Salmon on the L&F Shockwave/Saltist 40 combo with a couple of 16/0 Owner circle hooks. The shark hit at 6pm and screamed off around 300 metres on the first run, before coming to shore relatively easy with only the odd 10-20m run. Was fishing by myself so had some fun in the shallows trying to get it ashore and juggle the rod at the same time!! The circle had pinned it perfectly in the corner of the jaw.
Any guesses on weight? I wouldn't have a clue...50 or 60kg maybe??
