5000k reel recommendations for around R1500-R2500

I have an 11ft spinning rod that I use for scratching around in gullys, and my reel has packed up, so I'm in the market for a new one in the 4K-5k size range. I've always been a Shimano person, but I am open to other brand suggestions. Can you suggest what are good options in this size and price range. I'm a bit of a DIY kind of guy, so a reel that is easy to take apart and put back together without special insight or tooling is a bonus.

So I realise that my allocated budget is probably a bit low to get a properly sealed salt water reel. If I stretch the budget a bit more, I am looking at:

Daiwa BG 4500 or 5000 is about R2600
Penn Spinfisher 4500 R2800
Shimano Sorocco 5000 R2700
Shimano Spheros (2019 model) 4000 and 5000 at R2500 and R3200
Okuma Cedros 5000 R1700 I can get 2 of these for the price of a Shimano

Given the choice, what would you choose?

Die spinfisher is 'n ipx6 rated reel, gaan kyk maar hoe waterdig dit is, die slammer is ipx7 en die nuwe spheros is ipx 8 as ek dit nie mis het.
Bly weg van die BG reels, hulle vrot binne 2 weke as hulle water gekry het en jy nie hulle uitmekaar haal en afdroog,

Vir my: Spinfisher of Spheros, (hang af of jy 'n shimano of penn ou is), maar ek vat die Spheros, no question in my mind. maar dit is net my opinie.

The shimano nasci and new miravel 5000 are great if you mainly lure cast, for more bait fishing the daiwa bg4000 would pair well. If on a budget the okuma azores xd 6000 fishes really well. Under 2oz fishing the shimanos are sweet, but tougher reels with more cranking power are available in that budget.

Daiwa BG4000 would be great reel to pair with a 11' rod and is in your price range.
Check out Bilimoria fishing store in East London for good deal on reel and braid combo.

The BG5000 would be a bit heavy, more suited for 12'/13' rod.
I use one on a 13'6 and a friend uses his on a 12' Archipelago.

I scratch with a Daiwa BG 10'6 paired with a Daiwa Regal 2500, but hoping to upgrade to a BG3000.
My son scratches with a Shimano Vengeance 10' paired with a Regal 4000.

Being budget reels, the Daiwa Regals does a good job, but I will upgrade to either BG, BG Magseal or even BGMQ.

I'm going for the Okuma Cedros 5000 now, nice solid reel and many good reviews.. Ill be using it of the rocks for scratching. But I should mention that I service my reels often and look after my equipment.
