1st trip after servicing my motor - : launched at durban harbours public slipway, only made it 100m into the channel and the motor started heating up seriously!!! pulled of to safety and switched the motor off. let it cool down, tried to start it and it doesnt start but just swings.
waited the entire night for mornings brightness and started trying to fix it. played with the wiring the motor starts, heats up again but i make it to the slip way but doesnt switch off. had to take the fuel pipe out for it to switch off!
did the guy that serviced do something wrong or was it just the wiring? i saw him putting the gear oil and he put very very little and he said thats how much it takes.
could it be that the little oil caused the motor to heat up and melt the wiring?
please help.
thanks
