shoh we went out yesturday morning and the water was a bit rough .1 guy got sick and started chuming so we went back in to the harbour.2minutes in and line down boom a 3 kilo kob an 2 shad at nsri.an hour later and the water was alot calmer so we went out again .drifted out at limestone .now if any body knows how we do things its light tackle 10lb and 15lb double hook set up for bait and any thing else on an elbe estuary pro 7ft. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz he didnt see that 1 coming and again zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz damn this fish was everywhere.he made mycuzzie dance around the entire boat.10minutes of some intense fighting back and foward and there it was. a 2mt hammerhead.it didnt come all the way to the surface but about 1/2 metre downwhat a beauty .as it came closer to the boat it took of.
it made its final run the trace line gave up and that was that .so i decided to put a big live shad down with a 10/0 vmc circle hook on my new setup an alvey shark reel and the elbe explorer rod .after waitng about 5 or 6 minutes there was 1 hell of a pullc on the line and it went dead.waited abit more and then reeled up the line only to find the big shad gone .i really wanted to put my new setup to the test.
