14ft Heavy Rod to use for in-eds

Hi guys

Im looking for a rod for my mate who is looking to get started in in-eds fishing via sliding and throwing bigger baits etc..so a heavy rod that can throw a 9oz sinker and just be a nice rod to get started on....single piece or 3 piece...not fussy at all. Can spend a maximum of R1500.

Please gents can you help me out, it will be very appreciated.

I have the sensation Rugged 3 (3 tips) peice 6-8 ounce, I am no rod expert but I have had no complaints with the rod. also nice having the options of a light, medium or Heavy tip (well in my opinion anyway).

Think they go for R1200.00...

have never used the heavy tip for eds but did put a small slide out for medium sized sharks once and seemed to handle it
