Finally got my first tropical stumpnose. Caught on occy leg/prawn combo with a 2/0 on light tackle. Bin after one of these suckas for a while. Fish weighed 3.9 kilos and measured 59cm nose to tail fork. Lightning came in afta 2hrs fishing and messed it all up but super stoked with the stumpy.

i was fishing for stumpies on the edge of the bricks. the cave bass was caught on chokka/sard combo. fished light tackle and got sorted by a coupla flatfish and something else that took half my braid and wrapped it around every piece of weed and rock in the area. plenty of bites, lotsa little...
