got up at 5 this morning to do a quick morning session for a gallie. i got at the spot at 6:15 , still dark and started looking for some washed up redbait . in the proses i met christoN, from sealine, also looking for bait. the plan was to meet up with some guys doing the bontkop haakgat challenge. the water was really flat so had to really try all the little gaaitjies and gullies, and eventually got this 38cm gallie. i took a walk down the beach, and met up with SPEEDMASTER, also a sealiner.

what a beautifull day it turned out.

Lovely fish.

 Are there any folk going out to Melkbos tomorrow ( Tue 27). I am trying to wheel and deal with the misses to get a few hours fishing in. ( fingers crossed)  Can anyone give this newbe an idea if the conditions are favourable?

I took the boat out, was going to Cape Point for Tail, but change of plan, went to Robben Island instead, water was 10,5 degrees, nothing happening. Turns out the guys did get some Tail at the Point, bad descision from my side !!

Mooi gallie, lyk lekekr vet!  Het jy hom met 'n stink aas of 'n mossel gevang?  Kannie wag om weer lyn nat te maak in die Kaap nie!!
