Hi Hannes,

Have you tried contacting kingfisher in durban ? They are the agents for Daiwa in SA and could source the part for you if they don't have it in stock already.

Yes, I have spoken to King Fisher and they cannot help. The parts are not available anymore. It is available from Australia but due to certain circumstances they dont want to send it to me. I have to get somebody or family in Australia to buy it from them. They not willing to send it directly!!!:

The reel is still brand new. It is woth R12 000.00 and believe it or not, the rotor from AUstralia if possible is only R754.00 plus taxes!!

if the reel is brand new and bought in SA, then you should be able to take it back to the shop you got it from and get a direct replacement, the warranty should cover that error

Zaahid the rotor got damage in a accident when I was in Namibia, Henties Bay. That is why I want to get a new rotor!!
