Zambia Work Permits

Good day everyone

Is there someone the can give me some pointers, tips or contacts that can assist me with the application of work permits in Zambia?

What do you need to go and do and for how long? You get 30 days on the normal business visa or 60 days vacation, it costs nothing for South Africans. If you overstay that then you have to buy a temporary 3 month permit and I think that costs about ZMK3000, I think you can only buy two of those then you have to apply for one of the longer work permits which are usually valid for 1-3 years. Best is to use a local agent to get that for you and get your employer to arrange it.

Hi Pylstert, thanks for your reply. We are going to be busy in Zambia for between 6 and 12 months. I am the guy that ended up with the job of arranging the work permits for our employees we are sending. Do you know a reliable agent we can use?
