:welcomesea:Those are definitely not baboons... They are one of the most beautiful fish we have on the Cape coast!! And yes, I do kill my own fish for dinner...:wfish

Ok guys let me explain, The term "Baboon murderer" is a private joke between another friend of mine who is a regular angler at Rooikrans. He is a good lad, nature freak and an all round conservationist but one morning there was a single baboon who was being a bit of a nuisance. After rumaging through 2 rucksacks my friend decided to try and scare off the pest. So he started to climb up the mountain to get a better position in which to throw a few rocks at the baboon & also to get a better view of the yellowtail. Unfortunately, he was a better shot then he thought and he hit the naughty baboon straight on it's Kop and the baboon fell straight into the sea !! I am a massive yellowtail fan and have spent many many hours on the ledges in source of the buggers! It really is a wonderful place and I have never taken it for granted. Enjoy your fishing and never forget your sense of humour because those ledges can be very frustrating! Fingers crossed for a better yellowtail season !

Hey Dancer,

You must have realised that other people wouldn't get the private joke? Anyway, I know the story of the unfortunate baboom at the Kranz. I am aquainted with your mate.

Lets hope a few mor fish come out at our favourite ledges this season... I have heard that there are a few tail around, but are not very keen at all...

Cheers,
L
