Redid these for my butt cat and went with 4 strokes
Wanting 35K cash for all.
Props/trim tilt/relays (new)/switches (new)/loom (old)/control cables 19ft (new)/controls 702 with keys and spares/battery cables (new original)
I checked compression (trefco) which was good, stripped motors, new mountings in legs / new neck though bar / did crank seal under p/head (trefco)/ had carbs cleaned (trefco), etc. Resprayed fully in sections and assembled.
Gear box casings were vrot so I got 2 x recon boxes and fitted all my gbox parts which were in great condition
Many new rubbers and parts etc, as I needed the item I bought it, to give you and idea - New original batter cables are _+ 1600.00 ea / relays 1400.00 each (that's already like 5K)
Powerheads in original condition with autolubes on etc. Motors stood for 7 years _+.
Ran the motors twice, had gearbox issue (since have had mechanic redo both boxes again) and during this wait got fed up(besides smell helping sea sickness,fuel use and fuel qty, I broke into the piggy bank) and fitted new 4 stroke motors. now motors are ready to go,
I have run them and all seems good, except I cannot advise on the boxes as I have not and cannot test them on a boat
Obviously come as is voetstoots, I have not run the motors much, think the price is fair the condition is good, not much in it, but open to offers. Onco, good deal motors are clean..
