There's one for sale on G/Tree at the moment for 95k... yes, 95k not 9,5k. It's got 2 x Honda 20s so it should be an awesome little package but 95k... :?

I've never owned one but came close to it. I did a lot of research on the boat and found the general consensus was that it was a great little estuary and river boat but only a fair weather offshore boat. It appears they were prone to taking water over the stern in a following sea.

Personally, I like them but not enough to own one :)

Personally not a fan of evinrudes but I have seen Witsies down round the 30k mark quite often.

yes for the dam
great is not the word, brilliant I would say.
so light to just hook on and tow for a bass outing.
that is what I miss from mine!!!!!

would also be great to use launching from Durban skiboat club for some inshore fishing.

the boat is very light!
mine also took water over the stern.

they are sensitive motor wise on the stern!

One mate sunk his while trying to net a fish. Both guys standing neat transom it took water over transom and sunk.

Very sensitive to weight distribution being such a short cat.

Too much weight in bow and she will dig in on the keels and can roll while turning.

I have one. Nice dam fishing boat tows and launch very easy even when alone.

A false transom is easy to install and a must for these boats otherwise water over the transom will be a problem, especially with heavier motors like mine. (2 x 30hp
Mercurys)

I remember spearfishing off one of those boats.
In a following sea the nose would veer off to one side, because the nose couldnt be trimmed up.

Wasnt very pleasant especially when the sea was up.
