Hi guys and Gals,
I have an interesting story to share with you. About a month back I was fishing in Ballito by the boathouse (Salmon bay) where they launch jetski's. I was fishing for live bait - casting probably 5m in and I felt a peculiar tug on my rod so I struck. Boy was that line tight! After fighting for a minute or so my line moved off to the right and I continued reeling in and pulling and POP out came a complete fishing rod with reel.
lol
I took it home, stripped it and cleaned the sand out. It must have been in the water for a day or two because there is absolutely no rust on it. The reel is scratched because of the rocks and that but further nothing wrong.
I would say that was a good nights fishing!
