Where to go in April?

Hi all!

The fam and I want to go down to the KZN coast in April to test drive (dive?) all the new dropshot gear, before heading off to Moz in July. Can you recommend good spots to fish? We'll try to book accommodation close by.

Bear in mind, we've 2 small guys (8 & 9 yrs old), so the beach should be within their capabilities too (they can cast very well, though).

I would recomend Carribean Estates on the south coast - the surf is accessible from the property and so is the Umtamvuna river and mouth - I rate this as the most productive river in KZN as well as the safest. The added bonus is that the Wildcoast Casino is 2 minutes away - this is the perfect fisherman family destination.

I'll have a look in our Holiday Club brochure to see whether they have anything available there - must act quickly, though, since all the good spots are normally taken early.
