Wetsuit

Hi all i am new to spearfishing and i am looking for a open cell wetsuit that fits my budget,
i have been eying the rob allen xflex wetsuits for a while but the 5mm wich is the thickness i want is a bit on the pricey side(R1970-R2250) my question is are there any  high quality tuff open cell wetsuits that i can get for under R1700?also i want to be able to get in my size
I am 14 years old,50kg's and 1.6m tall

I recently got one, and it is amazing!

I must go with ledge. Also got a freedivers suit recently and its amazing. remember that you will still grow so i wont go for a new suit at the moment. wait for a couple of years and then get a proper suit. for now i''l get a 2nd hand suit if i was you

Freedivers suits will cost alot more than a Zero suit. The new open cells are really nice. They also came in cammo. Last time I cheched they were around R1200 to R1500

Hi, I just saw this post. I have a small 5mm open cell picasso suit that is is too small for me and that I don't use. Get hold of me and we can make a plan.

I agree with Visjag, I also started spearfishing last year when I was 14, I bought a nice reef wetsuit wich didn't cost me 2 arms and a leg.. I was more than happy with it.   Rather take the money u would have spent extra on the suit and buy a better nive, snorkel or mask  (something u can't grow out of)
