Some feedback on Arniston this past weekend,we tried some rock angling from the side on Thursday,one 39cm galjoen came out for the whole day's fishing,southwester pick up and by friday water was looking great for spearing! Cracker water!!
Buddy of mine shot a 17kg Cracker near the point,saw some nice 1.5kg - 2kg John Brown's,that was it for Friday,we went out saturday to some reefs to the left of Hotel,lot of belman in the holes,but nothing worth bagging,later the day we went out in the front of hotel,got a nice 43cm galjoen and that was it for the weekend.Sunday swell picked up and vis got very bad.

dived two spots in betties this weekend, first spot was good for fish..saw a few galjoen and was circled by a school of 8 crackers... the biggest could've been size but left them swimming around- great sight!
next spot was a place that's very exposed but the vis improved to 12-15m! so just explored my cray holes and put some reserved signs on a few! swam around looking for some fish but the clean water wasn't helping!

Jensent, we dived around the point at 3 gaaitjies on Saturday, viz also bad. Highlight was 8 dolphins that swam right under us in 3m of water. Saw a big Wildeperd and thats all.

I must have been diving near you guys was that you out on the cat, i swam past some divers around the first point i was hoping to bum a lift back but lost sight of you guys once i got close to 3 gaaitjies. Ended up walking back .The water had become a bit cold by saturday, There were definetly more fish about on Friday , i managed one cracker and saw several others . On saturday just a Bronze bream.

We stay at Witsand, don't go down enough. Maybe once every 6 weeks. With summer hopefully a lot more. Will be there over December for 3-4 weeks hopefully.
