Gents where are the fish???

I am taking my nephew rock and surf this week end as I need him to practise with a "Penn " before I take him to Transkie in December to get buckled.

Are any spots working well ?

Don`t tell me Blue Lagoon as I hate fishing in crowds but if any spots between Ballito to Hibberdene are working for edibles and the odd shark or flatty please let me know.

hey brett

we fished our chicken run last week and got a few greys at the ballito tidal pool.our other members got 2 brown skates one of 24kg and the other of 12kg at the tongaat mouth.

edibles are hard to come by right now.i know of a few (nothing to scream about) bronze bream being taken on light tackle at the sheffield area.

hope this helps.

Hi Brett

Yesterday a guy pulled out a huge Zambezi at Umkomaas North Bank it was about 120kg and the edibles are grunters and shad but shad is illegal now.

The fish has been bitting on the coming in tide in the afternoon it would be good to start fishing at about half 3 and good grunters have been caught but if you want to fish for inedibles this is a great spot, good luck!
