Watergrass at Bronkhorstspruit

Hi guys,

 

I am planning on going to Bronkies for a competition on the 8th and 9th September, has anyone been there lately and if so can they provide me with an update on the watergrass issue and maybe some combinations that will work.

hey bru

i was there some time ago, just before winter, check my previous posts


there was still some water grass, but there are channels in which u can fish through,

i think you need to cast deep to get the fish.

i had no bites the entire day , i cant really advise you what combo's to go for.

banjo/fx het my al n paar keer uit die moeilikheid gehelp daar

i forgot to mention that i fished from the baja dam side and not the nature reserve side.

also from where the water line was its gone in about 30m, dont know where it is currently.

het al redelik goeie welslae gehaad met almond en caramel asook banjo. met n klein deegie en comp floati.

what I have learned from Bronkies many many moons ago is to always take some custard mieliepap as well, if nothing works then try this
