Today I am 100% sure carps do not care about the color of lines used, at least sub 10kg carps.
I did not use my specimen tackle but just used the old style papgooi method.
My mainlines were on the one rod very very thin Berkley 0.10mm dark green braid. On my second rod I used Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon line.
The neighbours very young son pulled the fishes one by one, while I did not get even one bite.
And he used a small old reel with thick yellow mainline on it. Yes, we did not used the same baits, and he was not willing to share his secrets. The floaties he used was in a unmarked plastic container
So I simply cannot see how carp is scared of yellow lines. I do not know the science behind it and what colors fish can see or not, but practically, I am convinced.
