So after standing on a pb carp of 5.1kg, I finally got a chance to upgrade. My buddy, Exiled-For-Life, here on Sealine invited me to fish a specimen session with him in Bloem and garuanteed me a new pb so of course I was extremely excited.
The weekend finally came and everything was very slow. A fish or two came out around us but we only got our first fish on Satuarday morning. Only being 2kg`s, I started to worrie as the fish just didn`t want to bite, no matter what we tried. So I got two more fish, both being around 3kg`s. Satuarday night, I broke my pb with a 8.2kg carp. I was super stoked. For some people this is still a small fish but I was more than satisfied as my target was 8kg`. Sunday morning,I landed another fish of 6.85 kg`s.
