unexpected surprise

yesterday i went for a shore dive. the water was a bit cold 14degc and the conditions were all round cr@p.we were just swimming around in a secluded bay when something interesting swam past.
8,4 kg white steenbras my pb for a shore dive. not bad for cape town.
oh ,it was somewhere between gordons bay and kleinmond.

amazing fish and a brilliant shot! well done! was it swimming in a school or on it's own?

I practically grew up in Betties. We caught many of these beauts over the years. All shore angling in various spots. Sadly, all these spots are no dive zones.

Having said this, Fantastic shot mate! Well done! I can't wait to see a few in the water sometime soon.

Nice one! must be one of the hardest fish to shoot that i know of from a shore dive, well done
