So Critter and I decided that since it stopped raining we might just as well go and do a bit of spinning on the north coast.

1st Stop at Umhlanga....

The water looks like tjoklit milkshake

Next stop at La Mercy and we found the reason for the brown water...

The locals were busy fishing and I think they were the only once getting fish today...

and maybe a couple of bumps on the heads...

Critter walked over and looked at what was coming out.

Blue Gills, Carp and some nice Blue Kurper was all part of the taking.

We moved further north and decided to go and look what the Tugela mouth looks like...

again....

You could see the lure 2 cm in the water and that all....

We found some shelter from the pumping NE Wind at the mouth and made a couple of casts.

We really enjoyed the afternoon and the bit of exploring we did..

One of these days we are going to catch a fish as well...

:wfish:wfish

But hey thats just a bonus.

What a sight.....

Learned some "new" and highly effective fishing techniques!!! Not suitable for catch and release though... who said you won't catch a thing in water with 2cm vis???
