For the guys that service their own reels and have problems with the poor quality screws, here is the solution! i service a lot of reels and sometimes battle for hours drilling out the screws that have broken off in the casings! these are stainless steel allen caps and should last a lifetime of services! and apart from the usefulness  it just looks pretty damn cool!
enough for 50 reels!

They come in a set with the tools needed to tighten them properly.

Hiya Whaler,

Now thats great thinking!
Hi T

Would love to claim it as my idea! but actually saw it on the Shimano Kaikon(JDM trinidad) ages ago but these size screws are really hard to source! eventually had to import the small ones.

I  have aqctually been doing this the last 2 and half years on the speedmasters it looks really neat, the same screws they around 25 each and work really well, there isnt really a problem with the shimano screws as they are stainless the problems normally arise with salist screws which 1 arent stainless and 2 are for some unknown reason fitted with loctite at the factory so when you attempt to undo them and arent careful or use the correct screw driver head they do tend to strip rather easily so be cautious when undoing them and ensure the correct screw driver is used. ^^..

So remember use whichever screw works best for you. :fishn

Hi guys

was hoping you could educate me on a few things...

I read somewhere on Sealine you can upgrade the Torium reels...

Do you make the drag smoother or stronger ?

Who does these upgrades ?

What are your thoughts on using Trinidad 30,DC 30 or 30A for the boat/couta fishing ?

or is a upgraded Torium 30 just as good and half the price ?

Is there a site that educates how to service reels ?...it's costing me loads of money
