My first post here, been a silent member for a while and have been reading and learning so much.
Just want to thanks Enigma & Cuban cigar for hooking me up with a mag kit on my Torium 30. Im new to casting a multiplier so I really bought this as a safety net.
I have the magnets set at the least brake point and I love it. I get zero overwinds, I an really cast that far as yet, 80m max on a baited setup. But I watch the line peel off with just a slight lift on the spool which is leveled out as sinker hits the water and a I thumb it. Ive casted at night with ease and even when my leader line parted ways with my line there was a slight overwind at night which didnt take long to sort.
I tried playing with my shimano tld star which isnt magged and Ive run into some overwind while the line peels of. Need to get this reel Magged.
