to the 1 that got away!

about 3 weeks back i went out for a 48 hour specimen ses after feeding for about a 1hour i set up the braai and got some thing to eat that took me about 2-3 hours! after that i started setting up the tent and other stuf that took about 1-2 hours and then i got my lines in the water! and the long wait started!

after 2 hours of waiting the reel went crazy!!!

after playing the fish i got it out!

but this is what i did not understand the importance of a unhooking map!

but anyway due to the fact that i do not have 1 i have to unhook the fish in the water!

during me doing this i unhook my bigest carp i have caught since i started specimen

escapes i felt so shit you wont believe it! maybe it was a 8kg fish who knows!

so this weekend i will be going back to catch the 1 that got away!

 and this is how i will look when i am done!

that's a real shame shazaad, but at least you didn't chuck the fish on dry ground to try and weigh it. that's commendable and i'm sure the fishing Gods will repay you handsomely for that!
