Hi guys,

 

Well this week end we went to a place called Tier Krans just before Oranjeville, and man was it a good weekend.

 

The grass Carps where very bussy and we pulled on averige 10 per day.

 

The biggest Grass Carp was about 5-7 Kg's.

My mate pulled a nice Barmble of about 15 K,s

My overall review is nice place . Lots of space Clean Water and nice size fish.

We also puled a few muddies but nothing wort mentioning.

Does any one on the forum know this place.

That sounds like some awesome fishing, How about giving some details on the venue like facilities, Prices, safety and GPS coordinates if you have.

Oh and some pics of what you caught.

Well here is the catch. The farm is located just before oranjeville.
Just before u get the Police station at oranjeville there is a board that shows the Tier Krans venue,

But its as far as i know not open to the general Public as most of the fishermen there owns some propety there, However i know a few people that owns property there and the costs to enter aint that bad, R30,00 Per Car & R10.00 Per person per day.

Should you wish to go there u will need to contact the Consortium Who owns the property and they will alocate a stand for the weekend, But be warned the emty stands has no Running Water or toilets.

Thats twe only bad part of the place,

Safety wise very Secure, Had no problems .

Will keep u all updated , Im bussy to negociate for a stand there and hopefully will beable to host a compitition there soon.

Hi Pi.

We where at Peets Place.

Right behind the house with the Old bus that now forms part of the house.

Not sure what the stand number was thow .

ja ek waS paas naweek daar ,het in totaal 50 karps gevang en 3 geel visse ,het jy dalk hul contact details vir my ,ek wil stand kry daar
