Tiagra 30 W

Good evening All.

I got these 2 tiagra 30W reels in to do. The client complained the ones drags was snatchy which is odd for a Tiagra.
Upon opening this greeted me. the one not fished was in even worse condition. This happens with water ingress and not servicing them on time also.

Lots of hard work later have a look at the current condition after my TLC. Needless to say everyone is happy again. They are smooth as butter and the drags the same too. This requires a lot of intense repair work and only with years of experience is one able to accomplish this type of feat.

If you look at how the work was done you will see the drags are now sealed for water ingress as best as possible to prevent this again.

All reels need to be serviced when fished a certain amount of time, irrespective of the make.
Your reels are expensive investments and need to be treated as such by servicing them annually, this ensures trouble free fishing, longevity and return on the money you invested in them..

Please enjoy this post, Jonathan.

This holds true by what you have just witnessed.

SKILLED WORK IS NOT CHEAP AND CHEAP WORK IS NOT SKILLED.
