These will effectively solve your casting woes the correct way in my view, with adjust-ability by simply turning the setting dial which is spring loaded.
This enables you to set this casting control Jmag system for easier day time fishing from free spool to zero overruns type night time braking by SIMPLY turning the dial.
These run with 1 rare earth magnet and the system is very robust and machined from 316 stainless steel and the insert it mounts into from Aluminium bronze which is just as strong and robust. I have specifically chosen these materials as they are extremely robust and resistant to the onslaughts of the sea salt water which destroys anything quickly.
Remember that any cast control system from a mag system to the setting spool control tension cap on every single reel is adjustable for good reason. This is my view is the correct way to mag any reel. Look at any reel manufacturer and any of their casting control systems they all have adjust ability by simply changing the setting dial on the reel, WITHOUT any tooling without any stripping and without any fuss at all, simply turn the setting dial.
This ease of adjust-ability remains IMPERATIVE as the wind conditions change, your casting prowess changes, line diameters change the way a spool spins, so does sinker weights and fishing terrain which impacts how you are able to cast.
For all these reasons any casting system HAS to BE ADJUSTABLE by mean of a setting dial. SIMPLE isnt it??
The downside is that only i fit them as it needs to be done right as machining is required and each is custom fitted per reel, also per clients casting skill as is desired.
