The DAWG

Guys

Here's a pic (not the best quality, I know) of the Thundercore DAWG by storm lures, I get home too late to take pictures in natural light and hence the %$%$% quality, but the idea is to show you's and Loams especially how huge this Chi-wow-wow is....

LGF,

That is a quite adequate photo(more than clear enough). Where did you get that? It looks awesome.(that lure has caught this fisherman)

I got it at Loams from Gabs, most favorite SA tackle shop, Western Accessories in North Rand Road, Boksburg....

Just one thing I couldn't find it on the shelves, so I asked and the girl behind the counter brought me two, the one I took and another in fire tiger colours, Oh and they only cost R42.50

I dunno if I bought the last one, the girl behind the counter had to go get it for me as I couldn't find it on the shelves, I propose that you give them a call before you go there to find out if they still have stcok or not.

I've tried it a Roodeplaat, (not like I was supposed, trawling) will try it sometimes with a little more deadsticking and far less action, perhaps then I'll boat a MUNSTA.

Johanvc, what new stock do you have to get hey?  BTW I bought some sensational fluke type lures that I think will work as they look very natural and very realisticly similar to little baitfish.... Will give them and DA DAWG a bash sometime, soone I hope!

I know the sensation stuff looks great but I don’t use them as they are not Biodegradable. So if the fish swallows it it sits there for ever.

I want to start fishing spinner baits more and also crank baits. So I need to stock up sometime soon for the boat

Oy, didn't know that, btw, did you see that article about the LGF caught with all the lures in it's stomach, makes you wonder how that happens, as I've never actually boated a fish with my lure swallowed, this leaves me to think (especially because of their winter feeding patern) that it must have chowed lures that got stuck and the anglers broke off the line and so forth.

Also, spinners, which are you looking at? I've bought Booyah but they don't seem to be working all as well as the Terminator and the smaller Meps spinners.

Danie told me that’s why you will not see sensation stuff in his shop. I am looking at the stuff Danie imports from the states. Can’t remember the name. But I am getting them at a good price

Johanvc... One question :)

Aren't spinnerbaits and crankbaits even less Biodegradable??

That’s true. But the question is how many fish have you seen that swallowed a crank or a spinner bait. I have seen fish with crans stuck in there mouth. But never seen one swalled
