I have noticed a number of threads lately regarding offshore structure, silt maps etc. etc.

Silt maps give an angler a good idea of what’s under the water. Unfortunately many of them are really old, and a lot can happen in all that time:-
Overlaying the silt maps in Google gives it a more realistic feel, and the shoreline can be clearly defined:-
You still left with the problem of accuracy and actual depth, so imagine having access to data as recent as a couple of days old that is 100% accurate and can be overlaid in Google Earth:-

But how does it look in real life (3D)?
Seen as an orbit able 3D rendered image:-
And did somebody mention something about bottom condition – hard, soft, silt, rock etc.?
This technology is available to all, not just the rich and famous.
