Just recieved you popper blanks and wowthese are an amazing quality, you really know your way around a lathe. will have pictures up in about a month of the finished product, when im finished with exams. Thank you so much!

Quick question can i make a 16cm popper weigh four ounces with a big enough tailweight? and does anyone know if i can get this size tailweight or must i cast my own?

easy you need to work out the volume of your hole . i think 8mm Dia x 90mm long should be close . will work out the volume .else use small ball sinkers threaded on the wire , you can play round with the positions to get the right action from the plug - a few infront of the belly hook rest behind it etc etc .

thanks got 3 weeks of exams coming up but will give it a go after that, am i assuming that with the popper you want the weighting to make it swim with the but down and top up at an angle? so it can smash the top of the water then sink and smash out face first...
