Do you see an issue with a sinker snoot being part light cable and part mono. My goal is to reduce bite offs from sharks. Not eliminate but to reduce bite offs. Light cable .041in in the green highlight connected to mono to the grapnel sinker in red. Your thoughts pros or cons.

Steel on the sinker line? Why?

Half of it is light steel. The other half mono. Just to reduce loosing sinker. I haven't used it yet. Worse case scenario I would rather loose sinker to structure than getting bite off by shark. Judging by low response it is probably not necessary. Just an idea of mine that popped up.
