Surf launch endorsement

Hi guys i need some of the insight that is available on sealine.

I have got a full cat c skippers and a surf launch endorsement to launch a jet ski through the surf.

Times change and its time for a ski boat. I have launched a ski boat through the surf more than the compulsory 12 times under the supervision of a licenced skipper with surf launch endorsement.
We filled the samsa surf launch log and he signed off on it. What now. Do i just send the log to the samsa agent closest to me. Or what next?

Howzit Malboer not sure I understand your Q but if you have your skippers then you good to go, all day, every day. No logs to be sent to no one.

My skippers state that im only allowed to launch a jetski through the surf. Im allowed to launch a ski boat only in protected harbours and bays.

So i need surf launch endorsement for a ski boat. Or is it a given?

Ok I understand. Yeah then prob send off log and ask them to amend. You should get hold of the person you did your skippers with.

Yep i agree. Im just not up for spending a whole week in Durban for a whole week to do it all over. But if that is what needs to be done i will have to. My question is actually will i need to be assesed by a samsa agent again even with the training logs?

I highly doubt it. Maybe give SAMSA a call and choon them you have the logs that you want to send through so they can amend and re issue the correct skippers. Otherwise the dude who you did your skippers with should be able to sort this out.

I had to have mine amended years back to work at ponta as a dive skipper. it was no big deal cause you've already down all the hard work.
