Summer dips.

Hi all, i know about all the good winter callers and combos, but was wondering now that the summer is nearing, what a good summer caller is. do you use the same callers as in winter but less, or no caller at all? what are good summer combos and dips to try this summer?

Mine stays the same, however I will try more fruity dips like 2006, BG, Plakker, Banjo, Quatro etc

I never leave home without FX, anything bunspice (perdeby, hornet), Almond, Garlic, looti and anything pineapple.

I alwys use the same dips but wil play around with the amount I poet on the ball

I would always make sure I have some FX and almond if fishing in the vaal waters. These seem to pull the most fish.

I do carry a variety of sweet dips for summer fishing and bitters for winter. This has always worked for me.

I always fish different dips on each hook, so 4 dips between 2 rods. When I get more pulls on one rod, I split the 2 winning dips into one on one rod and the other on the other rod. Then from here you can see which one is the one they are after.

Another important thing is to try and cast at two different depths, figuring out if the fish are shallow or deeper and then adjusting to where the fish are.

Also, try casting into the same spot the whole time(if you found the fish), people often seem to overlook how important this is. Casting into the same spot the whole time if using bombs will eventually end up being a feeding spot for more fish.

Crazybug has answered a few questions at once. Cast in the same spot and, if it is warm, the water now, go sweeter,(pineapple,peach.quatro,etc.). Oops, dont forget the honey.

Ek gebruik selfde dips as wat ek in die somer ook gebruik : Soos TCP en Duiwels. Altyd FX.

Sal op een stok soet, vrugte geur probeer en die ander 'n skerper geur soos TCP of Garlic of Duiwels.

Hang af watter een my byte gee, verander ek my geure. Ek het al in die Somer meer vis gekry op die skerper geure. As die wind waai gooi ek baie Molasse op die bol en skud in vla-poeier.
