Strandfontein Pavilion - Tidal Pool

Hi Ladies and Gents,

Anyone know what is going on at the Strandfontein Pavilion - Tidal Pool.  Would love to give it a bash this weekend (Saturday Morning).  Any kob coming out?  What else can one expect to catch here?

Will it be worth a try or should we look for another spot?

Is it too early in the week to ask this question? Where would be a good spot to try this weekend? Strandfontein, Wolfgat, Strand, Melkbos, Ganzekraal? Anywhere where we might encounter some fish!

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Hey JonMan9, don't know about Strandfontein specifically, but could be good with these couple of days of SE?

Last Sat was perfect weather-wise, but Walt and I got stuff-all at Wolfgat.

Considering giving it another bash on Sat.

Hi Jon, behind the pool at the right is some rocks visible with low tide, pitch from ther to the left inwards. alot of kob has been coming out ther since last wednesday and by thursday morning people where carrying "bossies" kob from ther. I might and make a throw ther tom morning or else beespens for some bellman or steenbras

Damn I wish I could make it tomorrow. Unfortunately I have to go do some wedding planning with the girl.

We are going to try Bontekop/ Melkbos tonight, hopefully something happens there.
