Hi Guys,

Where can i get spares for my Stradic 5000. I tried Rapala SA who are the but they don't have. I find it strange that you spend so much on reels yet you unable to get spares.

I require the following items
·         RD13269 – Line Roller Ball Bearing
·         RD6597 - Screw (Screw that fits on the side plate)

just sorry vmc rapala cant help you, actually on second thoughts, push them to get your spares, might need to wait a little for the next shipment. did you fill out the ticket on their webpage with your requirements? (i did this last year for drag washers and they did take a while to answer)

have you tried p,m'ing the reel mechanics here, they have tricks, friends, connections and maybe a spare junk yard

Mike's reel repair is great. You unfortunately will have to choose the expensive shipping option if you ever want to see your package. SA Post is beyond useless. Maybe worth starting a thread and asking others if they want to order parts too and then split the shipping?

Thanks, Yes Jonathan was quite helpful. He mentioned I could find the bearing at any bearing place. The screw is the only problem which I will try and source. I did spoke to the lady at Rapala but they have a 3-6 month eta on spares and that is if Shimano has stock.
