Sticky drags

I have the older model Shimano Chronarch 100 that I used for Bass fishing. Lately the drags are no more smooth, but sticky.

Where can I send them for repairs and is it possible to upgrade the drags. Can I order spares and do it myself.

I do not want to wait a year before I receive them back.

Please give advice, otherwise I have to sell them.

go to mikes reel repair website they have the schematic and then you can service yourself

felt washers you need a few drops of oil

carbon, can be dry or drag washer grease.

a greased drag will loose top end drag, but will be smooth down low.
