St lucia/cape vidal

Hi All, heading down to St lucia/cape vidal area for the easter weekend hoping to do some fishing in and around st lucia area.Can someone pls help with the correct bait presentation and fishing spots,and what to expect as i'm still a new comer(nat agter die ore)in this exciting sport.will be greatly appreciated

thanks bronxie had a look alot of info but quite old,been there 2years ago over december holidays not much luck except for a couple of small shad.hoping for better hook ups on this trip.

Thanks Bronxie much appreciated, nice reading. Can’t wait to get down there. Looks like long walks to first rocks will be the thing to produce some fish. Plus heard from a few old timers long walks on the beach is suppose to be romantic, wonder how romantic my wife will take it after loading her up with fishing gear like an “osse-wa”for the long walks haha.

maar nou neap tide, so die rotse nie lekker oop op laag water nie

Dankie sea sick, hoe ver loop is dit min of meer na first rocks vanaf die laaste parkeer area,is daar geen mannier om nader te kom met n 4x4 of is loop maar die ding.as die water so vuil is, is die vis(eds) op die oomblik sekker ook maar stil, glo mens sal darm die black tips en hul neefs aan die gang kan kry in die vuil water.

ok, die noord oos pomp nou al vir twee dae.
water baie mooi nou.
hy pomp nog vir saterdag, dan draai die wind weer en gaan daai bruin water weer kom.
ook vandag gesien, die banke nie lekker oop nie. en die hoog en laag gety is nie wat wonders nie.

sal beter raak later die week, maar daai wind wat draai.

first rocks is so 6.5 km noord en kan net met die voete bereik word.

later die week sal dit dalk n beter bet wees om missions of vidal toe te gaan.
skoon water daar tans.
weet van tenminste 8 shad wat vandag daar gevang is.
size was ook goed.
