SPro - Swimming Jigs

Hey Guys

I have been looking at some SPro swimming jigs for my dropshot rig. They come in the smallest being a 3/8oz and up 7oz. They look great but has anybody tried them out or had any success with them.

They'll be dynamite for Shad, Small kingies, Leeries even, and if you fishing offshore, anything from Snapper, Rockcod, Reds to Couta and Dodo's will eat them...

Great baits.

They are poison especially for Iggies in the surf.

Just about to organise me some for a Iggie trip to Tanzania - will let you knows in Jan how it went.

I must presume that you use them with a fast action on the surface............

The smaller 3/8oz and 1/2oz models will be 'lethal' for the guys throwing light dropshots from the beach/lagoons and boats. In these smaller size's i also hear there is no better lure around for catching 'jube-jube' live baits when at sea..

 

This lure can be trolled or cast.. If trolled, a good quality swivel must be used(I hear its deadly on the troll - but few guys have tried it), and obviously it works very well when cast. Because of the bend in the bait, you dont need to pump the spoon while retrieving it. It 'swims' by itself if you just reel it as fast as you need too..

 

The retail store - Basil Manning - in Durban has the largest stock/range of the Swimming Jig range in SA at the moment, and im sure they will mail orders to these guys from Sealine who are looking for the stuff...
