Do you just want to braai or do you want to fish as well?
And how well do you know Springs?
If you are into bass fishing, then i would suggest you go to Murray Park (driving north on Paul Kruger road towards the N12/Daveyton, you turn in right into Presidents Dam residential area just after you passed underneath the train bridge and just follow the road right down to the gates)
If you want to do carp fishing, then i would suggest you go to Aston Lake. PM a guy on sealine by the name of PI regarding Aston Lake. He was there recently and knows the place quite well.
Its on Ermelo rd driving east. After you sort of left the town, you will drive over a low bridge over the Blesbokspruit and then over a train bridge. You will notice a few plots both sides. The last plot on your left is a horse riding school of sorts, turn left there and follow the road until you get houses on your right where you will get the entrance.

Dont camp at Murray Park it is not very safe at night.
