Spearfishing Gear

Hi Guys, I have been doing the crayfish season now for the last 5 or so years but, I want get into spear-fishing now. I have some extra cash to drop on a new suit but I want to know what's best ? I have been looking at the OMAR 3D 5mm suites are they any good ?? I must say they feel so light and soft with the open cell tech.

What do you guys recommend ?

Hey there. I got the freedivers 5mm open cell. And I must say, its truly a nice suit. In terms of guns, probably start with a 1.1m. I think its good for all round fun. Again, its all preference but I got freedivers. If you want u can always give Eckart a call and go chat to him. 0825779162 Eckart.

I have bought all my kit from Eckart, I look like a freedivers advert. but the stuff is really good and well priced, He is in plumstead give him a call. what you wanting to shoot?

Hey Guys, I bought a Omer 3d print 5mm 2 piece from Louis at Rabitech in Kuilsrivier. What a suit jeezzz unbelievable fit !!

I was also looking at the Omer footpockets as they are nice and soft but, at the moment I cant justify anything other than my new suit.

I need to log some hours spearing first be4 I get the rest of the gear.

I am driving up the W coast over the long wknd but I will get in contact with Eckart in next week... Like the idea of shopping around.

sweet glad you got a good fit. if I can give a little advice from the limited amount I have, get good fins. I only started to enjoy spearing after getting decent fins and it was amazing how many more fish I saw and shot when I was not splashing around with shorter fins trying to get down.
